Our house
Enjoy in peace
Our house has been characterized by hospitality for 150 years. Comfort and heart are the great strengths of our family business. 800 meters above sea level, fantastic hiking and biking trails - in winter the cross-country ski trail right next to the house, mystical places of power, mysterious castles and palaces form the backdrop, in the center of which our inn is located.
The Waldviertel vacationers can enjoy a lot with us - and in peace. Because you will find us in the middle of nature, far away from traffic, noise and everything that still belongs to the stressful everyday life.
Family business in the 5th generation
We are very proud to be able to look back on a 150-year history. We run our house as a family business in the 5th generation.
We are Christina Lindorfer and Christoph Einfalt and have been running the family business together since 2017. More on this in our detailed History.
Our values
We are surrounded by beautiful and intact nature. On our travels we were also able to get to know completely different habitats and conditions. This opens your eyes to our natural treasures. So that we can continue to enjoy them, we rely on:
Own small organic farm
The organic production of our food enables us on the one hand to offer healthy food and on the other hand to preserve the fertility of our soil. We only farm, i.e. there are no animals on our farm!
Organic and regional food
We obtain our meat mainly from organic farmers or from regional, high-quality production directly from the area.
Food on the plate and not in the trash
Planning the number of meals as precisely as possible and choosing a small selection of meals enables us to reduce food waste to a minimum.
Sustainable energy generation
The in-house photovoltaic system produces electricity. Wood chips from our own forests are used for heating.
No exploitative working conditions :)
In order for us to be able to run our family business in the long term and always in a good mood, we have to economize with our energies. We therefore ask for your understanding for our limited opening times. Since the well-being of our guests is particularly important to us, we can of course also be reached by telephone outside of our opening times.
